Zerg Counter Units & Strategies
If you’re new to SC2, the first thing you need to learn is obviously the ability to micro/macro. However, the second most important thing you need to know, in my opinion, are counter units and the strategies around them. This guide isn’t a list of direct counters for each unit, it’s just to help you develop a strategy when you scout your enemies and keep things in mind (like you building Mutalisks when your Terran enemy is massing Thors is bad). I also don’t bother with the obvious counters (like Zerglings are bad against Banshees).

Hey, thought I’d throw out that Mutalisks are great counter for Vikings on the Terran end. Their bounce shot really does wonders against a flock of them.
